🎄Dedication

For my three adult children, Sienna, Kalib, and Christopher. I enjoy(ed) bringing you joy every year as children, and I do hope that you will carry on the Christmas tradition in years to come. I love you all so very much. 💋
Love, Mom

Book Disclaimer

I don't have a picture of myself reading a book,
or even buying a book,
but I think this is one of the
other reasons I love my husband.
HE READS.
As I read more, I will post what I have read in a book report format.  I will NOT be posting every book I ever read in my Christmas blog, but I will post ones that are centered around Christmas, Winter, December, or are about Christmas, etc.  I will also try and keep my book reports in an elementary school format, to keep it simple.  The books I read are not all going to necessarily be about Christmas romance.  Some may be terrifying.  Some may be whimsical.  Some may just be about a winter storm.

If it is a book I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend, I will link to it on Amazon or wherever I find it.  I think that is helpful for people who would want to read what I've enjoyed.  If it is not a book I enjoyed, I won't link to it, but I will still write about it.

One thing my late father, Thomas Arcala Sr, told me was, "Pick a book, any book.  You might be the only one who ever reads it."  He told me that when I was a 15 years old with failing grades.  He wanted me to spend more time in the library and bring my English class grades up.  Little did he know, I hated English literature because my teacher required us to do a speech every week in front of the classroom.  I was, and am still, terrified of public speaking.  I'm very much an introvert and very much an INTJ personality.  The INTJ personality is very rare, especially in a female.

I wasn't a bad student.  I just had bad grades.  If anything, my dad gave me the gift of wanting to read more, and for that, I am thankful.
